Comprehensive services for boaters

Förby Marina offers comprehensive and efficient services and a pleasant maritime environment for day visitors, overnight guests, and local boaters alike.

Refuel your boat at the fuel dock

The marina features a 24-hour Seapoint Förby fuel station that accepts debit and credit cards.

The Förby Marina station is part of the Seapoint network of fuel stations, which sells BE 98 gasoline and diesel refined by the Finnish company Neste, the latter being FAME 0% diesel.

Water point and Septic tank emptying

The marina’s water point is located at the fuel dock.

Responsible boaters ensure that their septic tanks are emptied using a vacuum pump. At Förby Marina, septic tank emptying is also available at the fuel dock.

Marina restrooms and showers

The marina restroom is open to all guests of the marina. The showers, on the other hand, are operated by a code lock, and their use is included in the marina fee. If used separately, the shower fee is paid at summer cafe Café Vinssi or, if the café is closed, via MobilePay to the number 58320. When paying via MobilePay, please contact +358 40 8283 721 for the shower code.

Waste Management and Hazardous Waste Collection Point

At Förby Marina, you can sort household waste generated while boating in an environmentally friendly and recyclable manner. The waste collection point features separate bins for different waste categories, such as combustible waste, glass, metal, paper, cardboard and plastic.

The “Förby kimppa” shared waste collection point at the marina is intended for marina users and private households belonging to the “Förby kimppa” community.

Use of the marina’s hazardous waste container is restricted to berth and winter dock holders only.

All other waste must be taken to the Perniö waste station (Katajarannantie 7, 25500 Perniö).

Boat Launch Ramp and Mast Crane

Boats and jet skis can be launched and lifted using the harbour’s launch ramp, located next to the boathouse between the harbour basins. There is a separate parking area for boat trailers, where parking is free of charge for 5 days. For longer-term trailer parking, please contact +358 40 828 3721.

You can use the harbour’s mast crane to raise and lower masts and perform minor maintenance during the season. Use of the mast crane is at your own risk.

Dishwashing Area

To make your boating experience smoother, there is a dishwashing area where you can wash dishes and cooking utensils in a spacious sink. The dishwashing area also has hot water. This practical dishwashing area is located at the back of the parking lot in a separate container.

The harbour is also easily accessible by local public transportation

The city of Salo’s local bus, Paikku, runs to the shore at Förby, so you can easily reach the harbour by public transportation. The excellent connection from Salo via Perniö to Förby is ideal, for example, for crew changes or port visits without your own boat or car. Paikku’s schedule can be found here.

Bike Rental

You can rent 1-speed Solifer Kombi bikes at the marina. You can rent a bike for a few hours or for the whole day. A helmet is included in the rental price. Bike rentals are handled at Café Vinssi.
