History
Leon Signell, once an economist in the Karl Forsström company together with his wife Saga, a teacher, built Villa Signell as a private home in 1954 for the family. Since 1986 Villa Signell has been a guest house for the company. In addition to hosting foreign and domestic business guests, the villa has been the venue for many dinners and parties.

The swimming area next to Förby Marina has a small sandy beach suitable for small children and a diving platform for older children. The swimming area is less than 1 km away from the villa. You can take a dip in to the sea also from the pier and enjoy a summer day sitting on the warm cliffs. There is a changing room in the swimming area and the toilet is only 100 m away from the beach in the marina.

In Förby, a country lane runs through the fields of the manor house, making it a pleasant place to walk or cycle and enjoy the countryside. Förby and Särkisalo offer several sand roads suitable for walking and cycling tours of various length.
