- Teijo National Park offers a variety of marked trails where you can hike in varied landscapes, paddle on the lakes, go canoeing or cycle in the midst of nature.
- Guided exercise classes are available in the summer in the Särkisalo church park or aktivites at Meripirtti sports field, organised by Särkisalon Urheilijat athlete club.
Cycling
- Try leisurely cycling in the Särkisalo countryside or head further away to the Coastal Route.

Golf
- There are several golf courses in the surrounding area, offering a variety of landscapes. The Meri-Teijo Golf Course is located by the sea. At the Wiurila Golf Course you can enjoy manor house landscape and Salo Golf Course is located in the sports park in the city centre.
